The return of The Pilot and Virgil! Our heroes wander lost amid a dying world after the events of Bring Down the Sky. They begin their search for a new home, unknowingly stalked all the while by a dark and sisnister demigod with a host of Simulacra at its command.
Being Human has been an intense labor of love over the past two years. It is an experiment in new instrumentation, new sounds, and new (to us) ways of recording. Engineered and recorded live by our friend Jason Sissoyev (Coastlands), and mastered by TW Walsh, this record is a blend of post-rock, hardcore, and Midwest emo and is, by far, our most dynamic and adventurous release to date.
“ I, for one, am incredibly excited to hear the full album when it drops. Stay tuned for more news as one of the best contemporary, American post-rock bands returns.”

Ian Duvall used to play bass in this band (and still kind of does sometimes). His latest release, Iterations, will take you on a goddamn journey. Don't sleep on this. Shipwreck Karpathos
Coastlands is one of those rare bands that continues to get better with every single record they put out. Death is no exception. It's heavy, and dark, and beautiful, and a damn near flawless record. Shipwreck Karpathos
The second EP from the gloomy post-hardcore dreamboats in Grimoires. It's like if Sparta, Small Brown Bike and My Bloody Valentine had a child, and that child liked wearing black pants at the beach. Shipwreck Karpathos
Toronto band Respire deliver a post-hardcore tour de force on the largest scale possible, orchestrally rich and incessantly uncompromising. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 6, 2021
